Dr. Muller was born at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, and grew up in Eagle River, Alaska. After graduating from Chugiak High School she obtained degrees in both Music (BA with emphasis in flute performance) and Biological Sciences (BS) at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
After college, Dr. Muller attended medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her internship at the University of Minnesota. Her post-graduate training took her back to Pennsylvania where she completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology (Memorial Hospital) and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (Geisinger Medical Center).
Dr. Muller has practiced at Providence Alaska Medical Center and Geisinger Medical Center in her prior positions. She is the physician founder and owner of Aurora Maternal-Fetal Medicine (est. 2018). She takes pride in her prior experience of teaching ultrasongraphers, medical students, residents and MFM fellows and enjoys the small setting of her private practice which allows her to spend individualized time with her patients. Her main goal is to help support and empower women as their physician, and to build mutual trust with patients as they work through the joys and challenges of pregnancy.
Dr. Muller enjoys music and the arts, and has played the flute since she was 11 years old. She has continued to pursue her musical passion by playing locally with the Fireweed Flutes and Fairweather Flute Choir. She has also previously played nationally and internationally (Summer Music in Tuscany Festival, National Professional Flute Choir). She also enjoys spending time with her family, which includes two dogs, two children and her husband.
Dr. Muller is also committed to be of service to her colleagues in medicine and founded a physician development coaching practice (LadyDOx, LLC) to coach women through transitions in their careers and encourage physician resilience. She completed her physician development training through the Physician Coaching Institute in Seattle, WA.
